Who can participate? Men and women who struggle with depression.

What is the purpose of the study? The purpose of this study is to evaluate an investigational device that is non-invasive and non-pharmacological. The device is an ear-worn therapy that fits similar to an earbud headphone. The device stimulates peripheral nerves in the ear involved in mood control and depression, through a series of 30-minute sessions which can be done both in-office and at home.

How long will the study last? The study lasts up to 10 weeks, and involves a total of 11 visits to your local study doctor’s office - or about 1 visit per week.

Where? The study is being offered by select doctors in Burlingame, CA.

Is there any cost to me? No, if you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive the device and all study-related care at no cost. Insurance is not required to participate.

Will I be compensated for my time and travel? Yes, you will be compensated for each office visit you complete, and may also be provided transportation to and from the study site.
